Real-life conversations every 1st Tuesday.

DATE CHANGE: DETAILS Forthcoming

When's the last time you talked to someone in a social setting, not just talked, but held a substantive conversation allowing you to share your viewpoints and hear theirs? That's what The Conversation Club is all about... taking people from behind their computers (and phone screens) to connect in-person to share their thoughts on real-life topics. Speed Conversations are 3 minute intervals of talking to someone (male or female). Join us for a fun, laid-back round of Speed Conversations. To RSVP email KrystalGlassTheGem@gmail.com

Gentrification & DATING IN DC

DC formerly known as "Chocolate City" is now officially Vanilla City.

There's some pros to that and there's some major cons.

How has gentrification effected the dating landscape? What are the pros and cons?

Ladies, you know the statistics...

Men, you know the comparisons between black women and non-black women...

What are your thoughts on dating outside your race? Its about to get real...

Join us for another real-life conversation!

October's Conversation:

Marriage: Necessity or Captivity?

There are 7.1 Billion people on earth. Were we created to spend the majority of our existence with just 1 person? That's a real-life question for the times we live in, where society is becoming an "insta-society" where nearly everything is happening in a fast and temporary way, which increases the demand for variety and newness. How does that play out in relationships? Is marriage an outdated concept for the insta-society we live in today? Tell me, is marriage a necessity for you or a form of captivity to you? I can't wait to hear your thoughts on this!
